How does the sunrise alarm work?
The light gradually brightens before your alarm, bringing the feeling of sunrise to your bedside. Choose how long the sunrise runs before your alarm, anywhere from 10 to 60 minutes.

Can I wake up with just the light?
Yes. Use the sunrise light on its own or pair it with one of multiple alarm sounds, with adjustable volume.

Do I need an app or subscription?
No. Set your alarm, adjust the lighting and choose your sounds directly on the clock. No app to download or subscription to pay for.

Will it be too bright at night?
Only if you want it to be. Choose from 20 lamp brightness levels, and adjust the clock display separately. Prefer a darker room? Turn the display brightness all the way down to off.

What sounds can I choose from?

Does it have a sleep timer?
Yes. Choose a preset duration from 15 to 180 minutes for automatic shutoff at bedtime. The sleep timer is separate from your morning alarm and can be turned off when you don’t need it.

Is there a snooze button?
Yes. Press the top button when the alarm sounds for another nine minutes.

Does it need to stay plugged in?
Yes. The clock needs USB power to operate. Its backup battery remembers your settings when unplugged, but it doesn’t power the light or alarm.

Power the clock only with the included USB cable; other cables may not supply steady power. Before cleaning, unplug the clock and wipe the shade with a soft, dry cloth. Keep the clock dry and away from water and heat sources, and never open or disassemble it. The clock contains a small, non-replaceable coin battery. Keep out of reach of children, and if you believe a battery has been swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
